Walk This Way: 80's 5K & Block Party
On September 12, 2026 the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation presents Walk This Way: 80's 5K & Block Party in Downtown Foley. The event supports local education initiatives and combines a community 5K with an evening block party held at Heritage Park.
The 5K follows a scenic course through Historic Downtown Foley and the Rose Trail, finishing at Heritage Park. Participants may run, walk, or skate the course. Costumes in 1980s styles and bright neon are encouraged.
After the course Heritage Park becomes a block party with live 80s cover music, a special guest performer, music and dancing. The event is BYOB friendly when attendees comply with event guidelines and local regulations. Food will be available from multiple food truck vendors.
