Walk Run Pedal Jamz Festival - Chattanooga
The Walk Run Pedal Jamz Festival is a family friendly fundraising event on October 31, 2026 that benefits the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga. The festival is held at the Chattanooga Green within Ross's Landing at 201 Riverfront Parkway, at the corner of Chestnut Street and Riverfront Parkway adjacent to the Tennessee Aquarium.
The event includes a casual walk, a casual run, and a casual bike ride that begin at the Chattanooga Greens. Participants may take part in person or virtually. Online registrants who check in the morning at the Urban League tent are eligible for prize drawings held during the festival; winners must be present to receive prizes.
Distances for the morning events include:
- Walk: approximately 2 miles
- Run: approximately 2 miles
- Bike ride: approximately 8 to 12 miles
The festival is free to attend and features food trucks, vendor tents, free face painting, a toddler walk, a costume contest, live music, and a magic show. A citywide karaoke contest starts on September 10 with finals on October 15 at Dave & Buster's; finalists will perform at the festival. Volunteer opportunities are available, and students may earn community service hours for the Tennessee HOPE Scholarship. Participants should consult a physician and acknowledge that they take part at their own risk. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
