Furry Scurry Fun Run and Walk
The Furry Scurry Fun Run and Walk is an outdoor movement event held at the Chickamauga Dam in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The event takes place on October 31, 2026, and is designed for participants to exercise alongside animal companions. Participation with a dog is not a requirement for entry.
Participants can choose between two distinct distances:
- 5 km (Husky Hustle)
- 1 mile (Dachshund Dash)
The course includes water stations for both humans and pets situated at the turnaround point and the finish line. Prizes are available for participants and their pets. A portion of the event proceeds is donated to Warrior Freedom Service Dogs, an organization that raises and trains service dogs for veterans.
Packet pick-up is available the day before the event at the Chattanooga Sports Chiropractic Institute and on the morning of the event at the Chickamauga Dam Riverpark. The venue is located at the Chickamauga Dam with the registration area situated in the riverfront park area. Registration fees are structured in tiers that increase as the event date approaches.
