Furry Scurry Fun Run and Walk
The event takes place on October 31, 2026 at Chickamauga Dam in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It is an outdoor run and walk that welcomes participants with or without dogs and emphasizes movement with animal companions.
Distances offered include:
- 5K Husky Hustle (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile Dachshund Dash
Water stations for both dogs and humans will be available at the turnaround and at the finish area. Prizes will be awarded to participants, including awards for pets.
A portion of the event proceeds will be donated to Warrior Freedom Service Dogs, an organization that raises and trains service dogs for veterans.
Packet pick up is scheduled for Friday, October 30 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Chattanooga Sports Chiropractic Institute and on Saturday, October 31 from 7:00 to 8:30 AM at Chickamauga Dam Riverpark. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
