Furry Scurry Fun Run and Walk
The Furry Scurry Fun Run and Walk takes place at Chickamauga Dam in Chattanooga, TN on October 31, 2026. The event features outdoor running and walking where participants may be accompanied by dogs; dogs are not required for participation and people of differing abilities may join.
Distances offered:
- Husky Hustle 5K (3.1 miles)
- Dachshund Dash 1 Mile
Water stations for both dogs and people are available at the turnaround and at the finish area. Prizes will be awarded to participants, including pets. A portion of the event proceeds will be donated to Warrior Freedom Service Dogs, an organization that raises and trains service dogs for veterans.
Packet pick-up is scheduled at two locations: Friday, October 30 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Chattanooga Sports Chiropractic Institute, and Saturday, October 31 from 7:00 to 8:30 AM at Chickamauga Dam Riverpark.
