Walk for Warriors 2026

The Walk for Warriors is a fundraising event held in its third year to support Operation Injured Soldiers (OIS). This non-profit organization provides recreational opportunities and mental health resources to military veterans. The 2026 edition features three separate walking events in different locations across April and May.

Participants can choose from the following event locations:

  • Washington DC - Held at the National Mall.
  • Richmond, Michigan - Held along the Macomb Orchard Trail.
  • Holland, Michigan - Held at the Holland State Park Beach.
  • 30 Mile Army Ultra Challenge - A distance representing military statistics.

The event includes a First Responder's Challenge where participants can create or join fundraising teams categorized by profession. These categories include Law Enforcement, Firefighters, Public Safety, Utilities, and EMT or Paramedics. The funds raised through these teams contribute to the overall goal of providing free recreational activities to veterans as a gratitude for their service. Participants who wish to attend more than one of the scheduled walks must register for each location individually. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
