Event overview
The Leaping Leprechaun 5K Fun Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Macomb Orchard Trail - Richmond Trailhead in Richmond, Michigan (corner of 32 Mile and Main Street). The event program includes the following distances:

- Lil Leprechaun 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Awards are given to the first male and first female finishers of the 5K, and there is a best costume contest. An after party is planned at the Commercial House; participants in the 5K receive a drink at the after party as part of registration benefits.
Registration and logistics
Early registration pricing and benefits apply through February 1, 2026; prices increase after that date. Early and late registration fees are listed for each event; 5K registrants who register late may not be guaranteed a race shirt if they register after March 4, 2026. Packet pick-up is scheduled at Macomb Orchard Trail Park on race day beginning at 8:00 a.m. The Lil Leprechaun 1 Mile entry includes a participant medal and beads.
