Walk for WAIT House 2026
Walk for WAIT House 2026 is a community fundraising walk held on August 8, 2026 at the Glens Falls High School Track (10 Quade Street, Glens Falls, NY). The event raises funds for WAIT House, an organization that provides safe shelter, peer support, and services for homeless and at-risk youth in Warren and Washington counties.
Proceeds support the emergency shelter, youth peer advocacy, transitional housing, and other resource programs that help youth ages 16 to 24 access stability and pathways to independence. The event program includes a community walk, field day games and prizes for youth and families, and food service from the Coach's Corner Food Truck. Official event T-shirts are provided with registration, and logos for the event T-shirt must be submitted by July 1, 2026 to meet printing deadlines. T-shirts are offered in standard men’s/unisex sizing.
Remote participation is available; remote participants receive the official event T-shirt by mail and may submit a photo for inclusion in post-event highlights. Registration is offered in age-based categories with listed fees for General Admission (ages 13 and older) and Youth Registration (ages 4–12). Participants take part at their own risk; WAIT House and its affiliates are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or loss during the event.
