Walk/5K for LIFE Family Resource Center
The Walk/5K for LIFE Family Resource Center is a community fundraising event held at Paoli Community Park in Paoli, Indiana. The event offers two course options and supports the LIFE Family Resource Center, a non-profit pregnancy and resource center that provides free services to women and families.
Services provided by the center include self-administered pregnancy testing, ultrasounds in partnership with Hope Resource Center, Abortion Pill Rescue referrals, a learn while you earn program, lunch and learns, parenting courses and lay or peer counseling. The center also offers material assistance such as diapers, clothing and baby supplies. All services are provided free of charge.
Event details available from the organizer include a registration fee of $25 and optional event T-shirts for $8 for those who secure one by July 31st. T-shirts may be picked up at check-in. Corporate or group teams of 10 or more receive a $5 discount per entry when the team is identified as a Corporate Challenge and a group name is provided.
Awards are given for the 5K and 1 mile events. The 5K recognizes overall top female and male and the top two female and male finishers in each age group. The 1 mile recognizes overall top female and male winners.
