Memorial 5K Run/Walk in French Lick
This is the third annual 5K run and walk held in memory of a ten year old who died unexpectedly from sepsis on September 13, 2022. The event is held in September, which is Sepsis Awareness Month, and occurs in the same month as the child's birthday on the 19th. The purpose is to honor the child’s life and to raise awareness about sepsis.
The course follows trails between the historic French Lick Springs Resort and the West Baden Springs hotels in French Lick, Indiana. The listed location is 8670 West SR 56, French Lick, IN 47432.
All proceeds from the event go to a memorial scholarship fund. Registration opens on 2026-05-18 and closes on 2026-09-11. The standard registration fee is $30 and the fee will increase to $35 on race day. Registrations received by 2026-08-29 will receive an event T shirt; after that date T shirts are available on a first come first served basis and may not be available in all sizes or on race day.
