Wakefield Hospice 10k
The Wakefield Hospice 10k is a community road race held in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This event is organized to raise funds for local hospice care and features a flat course consisting of a single lap. The race is open to participants of various abilities and is suitable for wheelchair users.
The event provides several amenities for participants at the race headquarters in Thornes Park. These include:

Available facilities include water stations, distance markers, a baggage store, and changing areas with toilets. Please note that no shower facilities are provided on-site. Official pacers are available for the 10 km distance, covering times from 40 to 75 minutes. All finishers receive a bespoke commemorative t-shirt.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers, alongside various age category awards ranging from V35 to V70+. Medical services, physiotherapy, and food and drink vendors are also present on the day. Parking is available at multiple nearby locations, including Trinity Cathedral Academy and Westgate Retail & Leisure Park.
Registration fees are standard for unaffiliated runners with a discount for affiliated athletes. The event has an entry limit of 2,750 participants. Transfers to another runner are permitted up to 14 days before the event, while refund requests must be made at least 28 days prior to the race date.
