Wakefield Hospice 10K 2027
The Wakefield Hospice 10K takes place in Wakefield, West Yorkshire on Sunday 14 March 2027. The event is organised by Wakefield Hospice to raise funds for patient care and marks the race's 30th anniversary; a special £30 entry option is available to celebrate the occasion.
The course is a 10 kilometres road route, flat and run as a single lap. The event is open to a broad field with an entry limit of 2,750 places; remaining places were recorded at 1,881. A race licence has been applied for and the event is listed as suitable for wheelchairs.
Race facilities include water stations, distance markers, toilets, changing facilities and baggage storage; showers are not provided. Race headquarters are at Thornes Park, Horbury Road, Wakefield WF2 8TY. Parking is available at designated locations near Thornes Park. On the day there will be food and drink, physio support, commentary, prize giving, a property tent, medical services, pacers and an exclusive 30th anniversary finisher t-shirt.
Prize categories include top three male and female finishers and age category awards. Refunds are available up to 28 days before the event and transfers close three weeks prior; refunds cannot be processed after that time.
