Wakefield Hospice 10K 2027
The Wakefield Hospice 10K takes place in Wakefield, West Yorkshire on Sunday 14 March 2027. The event is organised by Wakefield Hospice to raise funds for patient care at the hospice.
The race distance is 10 km on a flat, road course run over a single lap. The event has an entry limit and is suitable for wheelchair athletes; a race licence has been applied for. Official pacers are provided with target times from 40 to 75 minutes. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers and there are age category awards. A special 30th anniversary finisher t-shirt is available and organisers offer a symbolic £30 entry option to mark the anniversary.
Facilities at Race HQ in Thornes Park, Horbury Road, Wakefield WF2 8TY include water, distance markers, toilets, changing facilities and baggage storage; there are no showers. On the day there is parking at nearby locations, food and drink provision, physio, commentary, prize giving, a property tent and medical services. Entry fees shown include race fees and admin charges; early bird prices are listed for affiliated and unaffiliated entrants and standard pricing includes the anniversary option. Entry on the day is not available. Refunds are offered up to 28 days before the event and transfers close three weeks prior; after that no refunds or transfers are permitted.
