Wagfest Leashes and Laces 2 Mile Walk/Run

The Wagfest Leashes and Laces event is a non-timed running and walking event held in Albemarle, North Carolina. The course spans 2 miles and is designed to be family-friendly. Participants follow the Roger F. Snyder Greenway, starting and finishing at Market Station during the Wagfest festival.

Participants can choose between two specific registration categories:

2-Legs Division (Hooman Only): A 2 mile distance for individual participants.
6-Legs Division (Hooman + Pupper): A 2 mile distance for participants running or walking with a dog.

Registration for the individual division includes an official event T-shirt. Those participating in the division with a dog receive both the T-shirt and a commemorative bandana for their pet.

The event takes place alongside the Wagfest festival, which features food vendors, games, live music, and shopping. All proceeds from the race are directed to the Stanly County Humane Society to assist local animals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
