Wagfest Leashes and Laces 2 Mile Walk/Run
Wagfest Leashes and Laces is a non-timed 2 mile walk/run taking place on September 26, 2026 in Albemarle, North Carolina. The course begins and ends at Wagfest at Market Station and follows the Robert F. Snyder Greenway. The event location is 501 W Main St, Albemarle, NC 28001.
Two registration divisions are offered: a 2 Legs division for human participants only and a 6 Legs division for a human and a dog. Registration for the 2 Legs division opens June 17, 2026 and for the 6 Legs division opens June 23, 2026; both divisions close registration on September 1, 2026. The registration fee is $30 for the 2 Legs division and $35 for the 6 Legs division.
Registered human participants receive an official event T-shirt. The 6 Legs division registration also includes a commemorative bandana for the dog. The event is part of Wagfest and the post-course area includes pup cups, food vendors, games, live music, shopping and other dog-friendly activities.
