Wadjemup Rottnest Running Festival
The Wadjemup Rottnest Running Festival is organised by the West Australian Marathon Club on Rottnest Island and takes place on 13 June 2027. The festival offers multiple race distances on island roads and paths with on-course support and facilities.
Distances include:
- 42.2 km marathon, four laps around the island
- 21.1 km half marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 300 m Kids Only Quokka Dash
First aid is provided at the finish and on course by the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Drink stations and aid station locations are planned and will be published; marathon entrants may bring or drop special drinks. Headphones are strongly discouraged because they can prevent hearing safety and directional instructions. Skateboards, roller skates, rollerblades and similar devices are not permitted, and pets are not allowed on the course. Runners must assemble in the advised start area by foot and follow marshal directions.
Bib numbers will be emailed prior to the event and bib collection details are to be confirmed. Course cut off for all events is 1pm. Entry fees vary by distance and membership status, with a free entry for the 300 m event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
