Votwo Eton Dorney Triathlons - September
Votwo stages triathlon races at Dorney Lake in Windsor, using a flat, traffic free tarmac course at the Olympic rowing venue. The event offers three distance options held on the same lakeside site and uses lap formats for each discipline.
Distances offered
- Super Sprint: 0.45 km swim, 10 km bike, 2.5 km run
- Sprint: 0.75 km swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
- Standard: 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run
The swim takes place on a clockwise, rectangular course marked by large inflatable buoys, which competitors keep to their right. The bike uses an anti clockwise lapped route around the return lake with 5 km laps; riders must ride on the left and overtake on the right. The run is a clockwise loop on the lakeside path and estate road with drinks stations at the far and close turn points.
Event logistics and rules describe on site registration, numbered bib and bike number collection before entering transition, and unnumbered bike racking when space is available. Age minimum is 16 and teams of three may enter with sequential legs. Wetsuits are optional. Included on site services are free parking, water safety cover, water stations, toilets and showers, event medics, chip timed live online results and a finisher s medal.
