Viva Color Fun Run : Aliquippa, PA
The Viva Color Fun Run is a family-friendly community fundraiser held at the American Italian Club, 1928 Irwin Street, Aliquippa, PA 15001. The event features a 1 mile route where participants start in white clothing and are doused with colored powder along the course. The run is untimed and welcomes walkers, joggers, and runners.
After the course there is a post-run celebration with music, dancing, photo opportunities, snacks, and multiple large color throws. The event is Italian-themed as a fundraiser for the San Rocco Foundation, which supports community aid, education, and cultural exchange. The event is held rain or shine.
Safety information notes that the color powder is made from food grade cornstarch and approved dyes; it is described as non-toxic and biodegradable. Participants may use glasses, goggles, bandanas, or dust masks for additional protection. Course rules prohibit bikes, rollerblades, hoverboards, scooters, and wagons; baby strollers, joggers, and wheelchairs are allowed and should line up toward the back of the start area. Dogs are discouraged for safety reasons.
Registration information includes an entry fee of $15.00, a registration open date of 2026-05-18, and a registration close date of 2026-08-03. Swag such as event shirts and sunglasses is guaranteed for registrations completed by July 1st and available while supplies last thereafter.
