Ville to Ville Sprint Relay

The Ville to Ville Sprint Relay takes place on October 17, 2026, in Travelers Rest, SC. Teams cover a total of 21 miles with a start and finish at Trailblazer Park. The course follows the Swamp Rabbit Trail. There is a post-race tailgate celebration that includes music, college football, and craft brews. All finishers receive a long-sleeve race shirt and a finisher's medal.

Race format and legs

The event is a three-person running relay divided into six legs. Each consecutive leg is one mile shorter than the previous. Team members split the legs as follows: runner 1 runs Legs 1 and 4, runner 2 runs Legs 2 and 5, and runner 3 runs Legs 3 and 6.

Registration, fees and roster rules

Team captains pay the total team fee at registration. Fees are non-refundable; the team captain role can be transferred. Price tiers are:

• Priority $200/team
• Early $230/team
• Open $260/team
• Late $290/team Event capacity is 200 teams. Team members register at no cost. Preliminary rosters are due September 30, 2026. Changes after October 11, 2026, carry a $25 fee.

Rules, categories and logistics

All runners must be at least 13 years old on race day. Strollers and pets are not allowed on the course; the start/finish area can accommodate supervised children and pets. Teams should have three members but may run with two. Categories include Open, Open Co-ed, Open Female, Masters Open (40+), Masters Co-ed, and Masters Female. Prizes are awarded to the top three teams in each category; awards are scheduled between 1:30 and 2:30 pm. Teams must have an average pace of 12:00 minutes per mile or faster; each runner provides an estimated 5K pace during registration.
