Village Creek Trail Run 5K and 10K
The Village Creek Trail Run takes place at Village Creek State Park in Lumberton, Texas, at 8854 Park Rd 74. The event offers two distances:
- 5K
- 10K
The course runs through shaded pine forest and follows soft dirt trails with several creek crossings. Some segments are relatively flat and fast, while other sections include roots and technical trail features that require careful footing. An aid station is located at the connection of Village Slough Outer Loop and Longleaf Loop and is stocked with water, electrolytes, and fruit.
Packet pickup is available the evening before at Lumberton City Park and on race morning at the race site. All finishers receive a finisher medal and a race shirt. Additional prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in both the 5K and 10K; prize details will be announced by the organizers.
Proceeds from the event support NMA, a nonprofit that works alongside 1egacy Group, law enforcement, advocacy groups, and families on efforts to recover missing and exploited children.
