The Vilano Bridge Run is an annual event held in St. Augustine, Florida. The event features multiple distance options for participants, including:
- 10 km run
- 5 km run
- 1 mile fun run
The course begins at the Vilano Beach Community Center and Park. It routes through the local Vilano Beach community and crosses the Vilano Bridge, offering participants views of the Intracoastal Waterway and local beaches. The 10 km route specifically extends through the grounds of the Florida School for the Deaf & the Blind. Both the 5 km and 10 km races conclude at the North Shores Community Park.
The event includes a post-race celebration at the finish line with music and food vendors. All participants who complete their distance receive a finisher medal. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall and in various age categories ranging from 9 and under to 80 and over.
The race utilizes an electronic timing chip system. Roads remain closed for two hours, after which any remaining walkers may finish the course using the sidewalks.
