Viking Turkey Trot 5K and 1 Mile Walk : Berry College
The Viking Turkey Trot is the second annual community running and walking event held at Berry College in Mount Berry, Georgia on November 14, 2026. The event includes a 5K (3.1 miles) and a 1 mile walk and takes place rain or shine.

On race day there is on-site registration and packet pickup, pre-race announcements, and an awards ceremony. Registration windows are listed in advance and each event carries a published fee. All registration fees will be donated to Partners In Health, an international nonprofit that supports health care delivery and system strengthening in under-resourced settings.
Proceeds from this edition are directed to Partners In Health efforts to fight tuberculosis in Sierra Leone through early detection, treatment, and prevention programs. The event also supports Berry College nursing students: the local PIH Engage chapter is partnering with the nursing department to raise funds for Global Health Service Immersion Trips to Kenya and Ecuador. Those trips enable students to work alongside local clinicians and contribute to longer term global health initiatives.
