Event overview
The Viewpoint Endurance Challenge is a timed running event held October 17-18, 2026 in Whittier, NC 28789. The event offers multiple timed formats so participants run for a set period and are credited with the distance completed within that time. The timed options are:

Course and facilities
The course is a 1.4 mile loop made of a 1.0 mile hard-packed gravel loop linked to a 0.4 mile asphalt loop. Each loop has an elevation change of about 118 ft of gain and 100 ft of loss. Runners pass the main conference center on each lap, where bathrooms and showers are available; the main aid station and porta-johns are also on the loop. Canopy tents are allowed in permitted areas for crew access and self-support. On-site lodging options include hotel rooms, bunk houses, an RV park, and tent camping.
