Viewpoint Endurance Challenge
The Viewpoint Endurance Challenge is a timed running event held in Whittier, North Carolina. It offers multiple timed race options so participants can cover as much distance as they choose within the event window.

The course is a 1.4 mile loop made of a one mile hard packed gravel section that connects to a 0.4 mile asphalt section. Each loop has approximately 118 feet of elevation gain and 100 feet of elevation loss. Runners pass the main conference center each lap, where bathrooms and showers are available, and the main aid station and porta‑johns are located nearby.
The event uses lap keeping with chip or tag timing and provides an option for participants to self keep laps on a large white board. The timed format credits participants with the distance completed within the allotted time period rather than requiring completion of a set distance.
Canopy tents are permitted in designated areas for self support and crew access. Onsite lodging options at the venue include hotel rooms, bunk houses, an RV park and tent camping.
