Vienna Elementary 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run
The Vienna Elementary School Vikings annual event includes a road race and a community fun run held on May 3, 2026 at Vienna Elementary School (128 Center St S, Vienna, VA 22180). The event program lists warm-up exercises, a 1 mile fun run/walk, a 5k race, wind-down exercises, and a closing ceremony with prizes.

Early registration is due by April 4, 2026 with listed fees of $40 for the 5k, $30 for the fun run, and $20 for children 14 and under. A $5 late registration fee is added for registrations between April 5 and May 3. Vienna Elementary School staff may participate without a fee. All participants receive a finishing medal. T-shirts are guaranteed for those who pre-register by April 17, 2026 and may be collected at packet pickup or at the event.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, May 1, 2026 at Chick-fil-A (538 Maple Ave W, Vienna, VA) during the event's Spirit Night and also will be available the morning of the race. Parking at the school is limited; alternative parking is available at the Vienna Community Center (120 Cherry St SE) and the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department (400 Center St S). Public bathrooms are available at the Vienna Police Department (215 Center St S). Organizers request volunteers to help during the event. The event notes that the Vienna Vikings mascot may attend.
