Victoria Park Half Marathon, 10k & 5k
The event takes place on Saturday 10 April 2027 at Victoria Park, St Marks Gate, Old Ford, London E9 5HT. It offers three chip-timed distances: a Half Marathon, a 10k and a 5k.
Distances
- Half Marathon: 6.75 laps of the park
- 10k: 3 laps of the park
- 5k: 1.5 laps of the park
The course uses the park paths and is described as wide and flat. Runners pass the on-course water station multiple times depending on distance. The half marathon route lists an elevation gain of 17 m. The course is on public paths that may be used by pedestrians; signage and marshals will be present and participants are asked to keep left to allow overtaking on the right. A bicycle will lead each race distance and will give vocal warnings when approaching from behind.
Event logistics include a secure bag drop, portable toilets near the event village, an event village with coffee and food trucks, and free finish line photos. Finishers receive a themed medal, chip-timed results and post race goodies. Parking near the park is limited; nearby train stations include Hackney Wick, Mile End, Bow Road and Homerton.
