Victoria Mile

The Victoria Mile takes place on May 18, 2026 on Douglas Street in Victoria, British Columbia. The event is organized in partnership with the Greater Victoria Festivals Society and Choice Events and serves to lead the Thrifty Foods Victoria Day Parade presented by CHEK. It is the 126th running of the parade and the event formerly known as the Douglas Mile is now the Victoria Mile.

The route starts on the west driveway of the Legislature, proceeds up toward the steps, turns left onto the upper driveway, turns left on the east driveway toward Belleville, continues onto Government to Humboldt, turns left on Wharf, right on Johnson, and left on Government to the finish at Chatham.

Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome. Refreshments will be distributed after crossing the finish. The top three finishers for men and for women receive medals at the finish. There will be a clock at the finish but the event will not be chip timed; manual timing will be used and results will be posted on the Prairie Inn Harriers website.

The charity of choice is Parkinson Wellness Projects. One hundred percent of all pledges go to Parkinson Wellness Projects. At the time indicated, CA$54,377.39 has been raised toward a CA$100,000.00 goal and 217 participants are listed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
