Veterans Salute Races
The Veterans Salute Races take place on November 7, 2026 at the Farragut Community Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. The event honors and remembers military personnel. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Knoxville Chapter of Irreverent Warriors and to the United Veterans Council of East Tennessee in support of its Wreaths Across America program. Signs will be displayed along the Veterans Salute Corridor in Founders Park to honor service and sacrifice.

The course begins on Jamestowne Boulevard in front of the Farragut Community Center, runs through the Village Green neighborhood, and finishes at the community center. The 10K follows the 5K course twice. An optional In Honor sign can be purchased for placement in the Veterans Salute Corridor; organizers will contact purchasers for an image and name for each sign.
Registration for the 5K and 10K is non refundable and non transferable. Fees prior to November 6 are $25 for participants older than 14 and $20 for those 14 or younger; a higher fee applies on race day. A separate donation option is available for the In Honor sign. Short sleeved unisex shirts are provided.
The event includes overall and age group awards, a team competition with prizes for fastest and largest teams, and a ruck competition with weight rules based on participant body weight. Non perishable food donations are collected for the Shepherd of Hope Food Pantry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
