12th Annual Veterans Memorial 5K
The event takes place on November 14, 2026 at Marietta Square, 1 Cherokee Street, Marietta, GA 30060. It is presented by American Legion Post 29 and is organized to raise funds that assist local veterans and military families and to support the Shepherds Men SHARE Initiative, the Georgia National Guard Family Support Foundation and the Post 29 Service Officer.
Race options listed include a 5K run/walk with wheelchair access, a Tot Trot for young children, and a Phantom Runner entry that includes a t shirt only. Registration offers in the event listing show a 5K entry fee of USD 40, a Tot Trot entry at no charge, and a Phantom Runner t shirt option at USD 35.
Early packet pickup is scheduled at Big Peach Running Co. on Thursday, November 12 and at American Legion Post 29 on Friday before the event, with additional packet pickup and late registration available on the event day. A course map and an awards structure are provided; awards are planned for overall male and female, overall masters, and the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups from 10 and under through 70 and over.
