Veterans Memorial 5K - Marietta
The 12th Annual Veterans Memorial 5K takes place in Marietta Square, 1 Cherokee Street, Marietta, GA 30060 on November 14, 2026. The event is presented by American Legion Post 29 and raises funds to assist local veterans and military families, and to support the Shepherds Men SHARE Initiative, the GA National Guard Family Support Foundation, and the Post 29 Service Officer.
The event program includes a main 5K run/walk, a Tot Trot, and a Phantom Runner option. Early packet pickup is available at Big Peach Running Co., Woodland Point Crossing, 1062 Johnson Ferry Rd, Marietta on Thursday 11/12 and at American Legion Post 29, 921 Gresham Ave, Marietta on Friday 11/13; race day packet pickup and late registration begin Saturday morning at the event.
Awards are listed for overall male and female finishers, overall male and female master categories, and the top three male and female finishers in 15 age groups, ranging from 10 and under through 70 and over.
