Veterans Memorial 150 - May 29, 2027
The Veterans Memorial 150 is a self supported 150 mile running event held on May 29, 2027 across the state of Michigan. The route begins at the beach at Lake Michigan in Ludington and finishes at Veterans Memorial Park in Bay City. The course uses open roads and includes approximately 90 miles of rail trail.
Participants must be self supported and are expected to travel with a crew. A small number of volunteers will drive the course and staff trail intersections to offer supplementary water and occasional snacks, but volunteers are not a substitute for a crew. Breakfast will be available at the Clare Trail Head in front of the Moose Lodge on M-115 when participants reach the 100 mile point.
Roads remain open to traffic for the entire route; participants and crews are responsible for their own safety. Participants must wear lighting sufficient to be seen by traffic while it is dark, such as NoxGear or an equivalent light. Crews may access runners wherever it is safe, but crews may not pace from a moving vehicle; support must be given from a parked location such as a trail head or parking lot.
Pacers may join at the Baldwin Trail Head; pacers must register on UltraSignup to sign the required waiver and registration is free. Finishers receive a belt buckle and registrants who drop are eligible for a prize. Course details and charity partners will be posted soon. Registration opens July 24, 2026 at 12:00 AM ET.
