Veterans Everyday 5K Run/Walk
The event is a 5K run and walk held at Prospect Park, Bartel-Pritchard Lot, Brooklyn, NY 11215. Registrants receive a finisher medal and a towel. Results are delivered live online and via text and email, and finish line photos and video are provided free on race day. A personalized bib is available for those who register at least three weeks in advance.
Bib pickup is managed by event staff on race morning. Participants must know their bib number to pick up a bib; a self-lookup area is provided for those who do not know their number. If registration occurs within 24 hours of bib pickup, the registrant will receive their bib number by text within about 90 seconds or may use the self-lookup option.
Awards include overall top three male and female finishers, a First Time Runner Award, the Fastest Overall Veteran Runner, and recognition for the Largest Team. Portable restrooms are located near the finish line. The event benefits the B.V.S.J Veterans Service Organization Veterans Everyday Campaign.
