About the race
The Veterans Everyday 5K Run/Walk is a community road event held in Prospect Park at the Bartel-Pritchard Lot in Brooklyn, NY. The event features a 5K run/walk and includes race amenities such as a finisher medal and towel for registrants, live online and text results, and free finish-line photos. Participants who register at least three weeks before the event can receive a personalized bib number.
Awards recognize overall and special accomplishments, including top three male and female finishers, a First Time Runner Award, the fastest overall veteran runner, and the largest team. The beneficiary for the event is the B.V.S.J Veterans Service Organization Veterans Everyday Campaign.
On-site logistics note that porto-johns are located near the finish line and that a Self Lookup area is available for participants who do not know their bib number at pickup. Registrants who enter close to the event will be sent their bib number by text promptly. Results and photos are provided live online with same-day finish-line images available.
