Veterans Everyday 5K Run/Walk
The Veterans Everyday 5K Run/Walk is an outdoor athletic event held in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. The course takes place within the park, specifically utilizing the Bartel-Pritchard Lot area for event operations. This event proceeds rain or shine and supports the B.V.S.J. Veterans Service Organization through the Veterans Everyday Campaign.
Participants can choose from the following distance:
- 5 km Run/Walk
All registered participants receive several amenities, including a finisher medal and a towel. For those who complete the registration at least three weeks before the event date, a personalized bib with their name is provided. On the day of the event, participants have access to live results delivered via text or email, as well as complimentary finish line photos and video.
Awards are presented in several categories following the completion of the activity. These include recognition for the top three male and female finishers, a First Time Runner Award, the Veterans Everyday Hero Award, and an award for the largest organized team. Facilities at the site include portable toilets located near the finish line. Bib pickup is available on-site through event staff starting one hour before the activity begins.
