Veterans Everyday 5K Run/Walk
The Veterans Everyday 5K Run/Walk is held at Prospect Park, Bartel-Pritchard Lot in Brooklyn, NY 11215. The event is organized as a community run and walk and lists registration as not yet open.
Registered participants receive a finisher medal and a towel. Results are published live online and are also available by text and email. Finish line photos and same day video are provided free of charge. A personalized bib is available for those who register at least three weeks before the event.
Awards include top three male and female finishers, a First Time Runner award, the fastest overall veteran runner, and recognition for the largest team. The event names B.V.S.J Veterans Service Organization Veterans Everyday Campaign as its beneficiary.
On race day there are portable restrooms located near the finish area. Bib pickup is handled by event staff on the day of the race; participants must know their bib number to pick up a bib and a self lookup area is available for those who do not. If registration occurs close to pickup, bib numbers may be delivered by text shortly after registration.
