Veterans Day Fun Run - Carson City
The event takes place on 11/11/2026 at Silver Saddle Ranch, 4901 Carson River Road, Carson City, NV. It includes two timed and untimed running options on scenic, flat courses that run through the ranch and along the Carson River with views of the Pine Nut Mountains.
- 5K : one-loop course through Silver Saddle Ranch; commemorative medal
- 1 Mile : loop through the ranch and along the Carson River; participation ribbon
Registration opens 9/1/2026. Entry fees listed for the event are $35 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 Mile. Veterans, active-duty military, and students receive a $10 discount for the 5K.
Event day features check-in, a veteran tribute with the national anthem and a flag ceremony, and an awards presentation for top finishers in 5K categories (students and adults 19+, male and female). A prize will be awarded for the Most Patriotic Outfit.
Logistics on site include a designated parking lot south of the ranch buildings; the access road is part of the 5K course. A porta-potty will be on the premises. There will not be a water station on the course, but water bottles and snacks will be available at the finish.
Proceeds: $5 from each paid participant will be donated to Nation's Finest; remaining proceeds will benefit Carson High Safe Grad to support a safe and sober senior celebration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
