Vernon 5K in memory event

The Vernon 5K is a community running event held at Maple Grange Park, 36 Maple Grange Road, Vernon, NJ 07462, on May 17, 2026. The program includes a main 5K race and a separate Kids Mile for younger participants. Runners and walkers are welcome.

All proceeds from the event will go to the family in memory of their daughter, who died of brain cancer in January 2026. Race bibs and event t-shirts are available for pickup on race day.

Pre-registration for the 5K is listed at $40 with race day registration at $50. The Kids Mile registration fee is listed at $25. Registration periods in the event listing begin in March and April and close in mid-May.
