Las Vegas Golden Night & Day
Las Vegas Golden Night & Day is a community running event at Sunset Regional Park in Las Vegas, Nevada, held on Saturday, February 6, 2027. The event offers multiple distance options and both morning and evening start waves, with the option to run both night and day.
Distances offered:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
Courses use the History Walk paved trails, which are separated from vehicular traffic and are mostly flat with only slight inclines and declines. The half marathon consists of three identical laps of approximately 4.37 miles each and splits from the shorter courses early on; the 10K is two laps of the 5K route. The paths are walker and stroller friendly and provide views of the Las Vegas Strip, Frenchman’s Mountain, landing aircraft, and local wildlife.
Aid stations are spaced about 1–2 miles apart and supply cupped water and Gatorade, with refill available for personal bottles. There are no official pacers. Crew and spectators may gather at the start / finish area; race-provided food and beverages are reserved for registered athletes. A designated drop bag area is available but not guarded. The event uses a 3.5 hour cutoff for each race and official finish times are recorded by gun time.
All finishers receive a technical shirt (subject to availability), a medal, and post-race food; overall and age-group awards are presented on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
