Vegas Golden Night & Day
Vegas Golden Night & Day is a community running event held at Sunset Regional Park History Walk in Las Vegas, NV (2601 East Sunset Road). The event offers multiple distance options on the paved History Walk trails, which are separated from vehicular traffic and are mostly flat with slight inclines and declines. The path is walker and stroller friendly and provides views of the Las Vegas Strip, Frenchman Mountain, aircraft landings, and local wildlife.
Distances offered:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half marathon (13.11 miles total)
Course formats: the 5K follows a counterclockwise loop using several park paths. The 10K is two laps of the 5K loop. The half marathon is three identical laps of a 4.37 mile segment and splits from the 5K/10K route near mile 1.85.
Race entries include a custom winter beanie, a finishers' medal, event timing, post race food, access to aid stations, and eligibility for awards. Aid stations are placed about every 1-2 miles and provide cupped water and Gatorade, with refills available for personal bottles or hydration systems.
