Girls on the Run Las Vegas Spring 5K Celebration
The Girls on the Run Las Vegas Spring 5K is an end-of-season celebratory 5K event held at Craig Ranch Regional Park, 628 West Craig Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89032. The event serves as the culminating activity for program participants and is also open to community runners who register.
The course length is 5K (3.1 miles). The event is presented as a non-competitive celebration; participants are encouraged to walk, run, roll, push or skip at their own pace. Every registered participant who completes the course receives a commemorative medal.
The council organizes pre-event activities and on-site offerings including face painting, water stations, sign-making stations and merchandise sales. Pre-order merchandise can be picked up at a designated tent the morning of the 5K. Free parking is provided at the Cottage Grove Parking Garage (Lot A) and Lot O (Cottage Grove Ave).
Safety and accessibility measures include mandatory race bibs, designated running buddies for participants, monitored course head counts and a safety plan with trained staff and volunteers. The event provides designated parking spots for accessibility and welcomes participants who require push or roll accommodations.
Community runner registration categories and fees listed by the council include Community Runner Adult (18 and over) and Community Runner Child (under 18). Program participants and coaches are registered through the program and do not need separate registration.
