5K Celebration
The Girls on the Run Las Vegas Fall 5K Celebration takes place on December 5, 2026 at Craig Ranch Regional Park, 628 West Craig Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89032. The course is 3.1 miles.
This end of season event serves as a closing celebration for program participants and is framed as a noncompetitive experience that gives participants a tangible sense of accomplishment. Participants may walk, roll, push, run or skip at their own pace. Faster finishers can complete the course in about 25 minutes while most finish in 30 to 50 minutes.
Every registered participant who completes the 5K receives a commemorative medal. Community registration fees are listed as $35 for adults 18 and over and $20 for children under 18. Program participants and coaches are pre-registered and do not need to register.
The event is described as accessible for people with disabilities and includes designated parking spots. Free parking options named include the Cottage Grove Parking Garage (Lot A) and Lot O on Cottage Grove Avenue.
Additional on-site activities are planned before the run, including face painting, water stations, sign making stations and merchandise sales. Volunteers support setup and roles such as registration and info, Sparkle Zone, hydration stations, and course guidance. Sparkle Runners act as volunteer running buddies, must be over 18 and undergo a background check. All registrations include liability waivers.
