Diamondback Dash 5K
The Diamondback Dash is a community road 5K held at the track of Desert Oasis High School in Las Vegas. The event is presented as the first running of the Diamondback Dash and a portion of the proceeds will support Desert Oasis High School. The race date is December 5, 2026.
Each race entry includes a custom finisher medal, a premium race shirt, post race tacos, professionally timed results, and access to a post race expo with vendors and sponsors. There are awards for the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three male and female finishers in each age group. The event also offers raffle prizes and chances to win flight vouchers.
Water and electrolyte stations are available approximately every 1.5 miles. The event uses cup free water stations that require participants to bring a reusable bottle or cup; stations use a hands free foot pedal water unit that dispenses 10 oz. per second. Teams and clubs may adopt a water station and host an aid station along the course.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at Desert Oasis High School, with additional pickup available on race morning at the registration tent near the start and finish area. Strollers and pets are permitted where local regulations allow; pets must be leashed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
