VARRA Firecracker 5k
The event takes place on July 4, 2026 in Victoria, TX at the Riverside Stadium parking area. It is organized by VARRA and includes separate youth and adult running events on the same day.

Registration fee for the main 5K starts at $30, increases to $35 on June 1 and to $40 on race day. Paid VARRA members receive a 20% discount that is applied at checkout. Registration closes the morning of the race.
Bib pickup is available only on race morning at Riverside Stadium; bib assignment happens at the check-in table and each participant must be physically present to receive their bib. Race day parking is at the Riverside Stadium parking lot.
The event is chip timed. Awards include Overall Male, Overall Female, and age group awards paid three deep in 10-year age increments. Weather planning notes that the race will proceed in rain but may be delayed if lightning is present until conditions allow a safe start.
