VARRA Firecracker 5K
VARRA stages a running event on July 4, 2026 in Victoria, Texas at Riverside Park near the Riverside Stadium Parking Lot. The program includes a main 5K and a Sparkler Kids 1 Mile for younger participants.

Registration has a base fee of $30, with fees increasing to $35 on June 1 and to $40 on race day. Paid VARRA members receive a 20% discount applied at checkout. Packet pickup is offered only the morning of the event at Riverside Stadium, with bib assignment handled at the check-in table by volunteers. Race day parking is at the Riverside Stadium Parking Lot.
The race is chip timed. Awards are presented for Overall Male and Overall Female, and age group awards are given three deep in 10 year increments. The organizer is also seeking sponsors to support the local run community. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
