Event Overview
The Light Up the Night 5K is an annual running event taking place at the Victoria Regional Airport in Victoria, Texas. This 4th edition of the race is hosted by the Hope of South Texas Children's Advocacy Center. The event is scheduled for a Friday evening, and participants have the option to bring a headlamp for the course.

For younger participants in the 1 to 8 year old age group, the use of bikes, scooters, or strollers is permitted during the event. Participants are required to keep their race bibs visible and facing forward at all times. Event shirts are provided to participants, though they are only guaranteed for those who register by a specific early April deadline.
Logistics and Recognition
Parking is available for attendees in the grass along Beeville Circle. Check-in and bib pickup occur on the day of the race at the venue. A medal ceremony is held after the run to recognize top performers across several age categories. These categories include the top three finishers in the 9-12 age group, as well as the top three male and female finishers in the 13-18 and 19 and up age groups.
