Vanguard Mud Race
The Vanguard Mud Race is an all‑outdoor mud adventure with obstacles. The next event is on May 16, 2026. There are sixteen obstacles described as a balance of fun, chaos, and mud.
All competitors start at 7:00 AM, while non‑competitors start at 7:30 AM and later. Registration is required online, and all payments are non‑refundable. Participants must be at least 8 years old, with those under 18 requiring a guardian.
Participants receive a swag bag, a finisher medal, a surprise gift, and an event shirt. Top finishers receive monetary prizes for first, second, and third place, plus a medal and a full gift bag. Spectators are welcome to watch.
Registration for the 7:00 AM race opens from 6:00 AM to 6:45 AM. For later race times, registration closes 15 minutes before each start. A completed park waiver and a photo ID are required. Organizers recommend bringing a change of clothes, a waterproof phone pouch, baby wipes, and a towel. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
