Vampire Run 2026 - Season 7
Vampire Run 2026 Season 7 Spellbound is a Halloween themed 5k run and walk in Covington, Georgia, with the start and finish at Legion Field, 3173 Mill Street. The event offers both an in person timed 5k and a virtual option called Spirit Runners.
The in person 5k is USATF certified and serves as a Peachtree Road Race qualifier. Spirit Runners can participate from elsewhere during October and receive a bib, medal, and finisher shirt; packages are sent after the live event. Both in person and virtual participants receive event apparel and a bib.
The event began in 2020 in memory of the organizer’s parents who died of cancer. Net proceeds support Blood Cancer United, the fundraising organization formerly known as The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The event operates as a 501c3 not for profit and donations are tax deductible. Fundraising on the event page shows $3,176.95 raised toward a $15,000 goal.
The route passes many local filming locations and includes more than 20 photo spots with volunteers available to take photos. There is a costume contest, team fundraising options, and placement awards in overall, gender, and age group categories ranging from under 10 through over 70.
