Event overview
Vampire Run 2026 - Season 7 is a themed 5k run/walk held in Covington, Georgia, with the start and finish at Legion Field, 3173 Mill Street, Covington, GA 30014. The event was created in 2020 in memory of the founder's parents, who died of cancer. The live race passes by and near several filming locations used in television series and films; the course includes more than 20 photo spots with volunteers available to take photos. The event offers both an in-person 5k and a virtual option called Spirit Runners. The race is USATF-certified and is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier.
Logistics and fundraising
Registration fees vary by registration period and tier; early and final pricing tiers are listed for both the timed 5k and the Spirit (virtual) 5k. Spirit Runners receive a bib, medal, and finisher shirt that are shipped after the live event. Packet pick-up is scheduled before the live event, and the weekend program includes a costume contest, placement awards, and post-run photo opportunities. Net proceeds go to Blood Cancer United (formerly The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society). Fundraising shown on the event page lists $392.86 raised toward a $15,000 goal (about 3% raised).
