Vampire Run 2026

The Vampire Run 2026 is a 5k run/walk event scheduled for October 24, 2026. The in-person event starts and finishes at Legion Field on Mill Street in Covington, Georgia. The event also offers a virtual participation option called "Spirit Runners," which can be completed anytime between October 1 and October 24.

Net proceeds from the event go to Blood Cancer United. The run is USATF-certified and serves as a qualifier for the Peachtree Road Race. The route is described as flat and passes by filming locations from The Vampire Diaries and other productions.

Participants can register for two options:

5k - Timed: The in-person, certified race.
5k in Spirit: The virtual run option.

All registered participants receive a bib, medal, and finisher shirt. The event includes a costume contest and awards are given for overall winners and multiple age groups.
