OUTLAST ATLANTA
OUTLAST Atlanta is a trail endurance event held in Conyers, Georgia on January 9 and 10, 2027 at 1996 Centennial Olympic Pkwy NE. The format asks participants to complete a 5K loop every hour on the hour; each lap must be finished within that hour to continue in the event. Runners who miss a lap are removed from further rounds. Those who finish all rounds in a given division receive the corresponding award.
Distances offered:
- 18 Miles (6 Hour Challenge)
- 36 Miles (Outlast ULTRA 12 Hour Challenge)
- 72 Miles (Outlast ULTRA 24 Hour Challenge)
Courses run on trail terrain that can include dirt, rocks, roots, elevation changes, and sometimes pavement or gravel. Basecamp/loop start provides water, basic hydration, and snacks; the event is cupless, so participants must bring their own bottles or hydration systems. Tents and small aid station setups are permitted at the site. All participants receive a premium OUTLAST tee.
Progress awards and prizes are tiered: patches for four or five laps, a medal for six and twelve laps, and a buckle for twenty four laps. Top male and female finishers in each event are ranked on a national leaderboard. The fastest across all OUTLAST 6 hour events is named National Champion and receives a $1,000 cash prize. Top city champions may qualify for a December championship with separate prize money. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
