OUTLAST ATLANTA
OUTLAST Atlanta is a timed trail endurance challenge held January 9 to 10, 2027 in Conyers, Georgia at 1996 Centennial Olympic Pkwy NE. The event offers 6-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour formats on trail terrain.
Participants run a 5K loop every hour, on the hour. Each lap must be completed within the hour to continue; finishing early allows rest until the next start, but missing a lap removes the runner from further rounds. The format emphasizes pacing, timing, and consistency across repeated efforts.
Distances offered:
- 6-hour event, six 5K laps, about 18 miles total
- 12-hour event, twelve 5K laps, about 36 miles total
- 24-hour event, twenty-four 5K laps, about 72 miles total
Courses are on natural trail surfaces including dirt, rocks, roots, and elevation changes, with occasional pavement or gravel. There will be a basecamp aid station offering water, basic hydration, and snacks. The event is cupless; participants should bring their own bottle or hydration system. Runners may walk as long as they finish each 5K within the hour. Personal tents and aid setups at the basecamp are permitted.
Awards and recognition include patches for partial completion, premium medals and a buckle for full finishes, a premium event tee for all participants, local division awards, national leaderboard placement, and cash prizes for national and championship results.
