Valley Vineyards Haunted Wine Run 5k
The event is a chip timed 5k run and walk that starts at Valley Vineyards Winery & Brewery in Morrow, Ohio. The course begins at the vineyard, includes a short section on road, and follows an out and back on a bike trail. Results are posted online.
Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T‑shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, and a race bib. Participants also receive a pour of wine; minors may register at a discounted rate but will not receive the wine glass or a pour.
The event partners with Pink Ribbon Good, an organization that provides free meals, rides to treatment, housecleaning essentials, and peer support for people affected by breast and gynecological cancer.
Age group awards are offered for top three finishers in each 10 year category: 19 and under, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, and 80 and over. Competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for age group awards. Age group medals are available for pickup one hour after the first wave and are distributed only on the day of the event.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday night, October 2, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the winery. Race day packet pickup is also available starting one hour before the race. Strollers are allowed but not recommended due to uneven ground; children in strollers may participate for free and do not need to register. Dogs are not permitted on site because the location operates as a produce and vegetable farm under USDA rules. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
