Valhalla Half & 5K
The Valhalla Half & 5K takes place in Poseyville, Indiana, with the start and finish lines located at the Red Wagon Restaurant. This event serves as the final race in the Ultimate Fit Race Series. Organized by Tri-State Fitness, the race proceeds benefit the Heart of Poseyville.
The event offers two distinct distances:
- Half Marathon
- 5 km
The 5 km distance follows an out and back format. The Half Marathon takes participants on a route through rural countryside and the small town of Stewartsville. A cut-off time of 3 hours and 30 minutes is in place for the half marathon distance.
Participants have different registration options, including a medal-only choice for a reduced cost. Standard registration includes a custom die-cast finisher medal and a choice of event apparel, such as a performance short-sleeve shirt or a racerback tank.
Awards are presented to the overall male and female winners and runners-up for each distance. Additionally, the top three male and female finishers in various age groups, ranging from 13 and under to 70 and over, receive recognition.
