The Valentine's Day 5k is held at Two Rivers State Park in Waterloo, Nebraska. The event is part of the 2026 Winter Fitness Series.

Course Information

The race is a 5K (3.1 miles). It takes place on a flat, 1.5-mile closed-loop course within the state park. The course is USATF certified and provides official times.

Logistics

Packet pickup and race day registration begin at 8:30 AM at the park office. Parking is available next to the cabooses inside the park. A Nebraska Game and Parks permit is required for vehicle entry. Participants are advised to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately.

This race is the third and final event in the 2026 Winter Fitness Series. Participants who complete all three races in the series receive a special medal.
