VALENCIA Trail Race
The VALENCIA Trail Race takes place on March 21, 2026 in Valencia / Santa Clarita, California. The event is staged at the trail head off 29889 San Francisquito Canyon Road and is organized by New Global Adventures.
The event offers three distances:
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles / 21K)
- 50K Ultra
The courses run on singletrack trails that climb to peaks and follow ridgelines before descending into the canyons of the Valencia hills. Recorded course metrics show the 10K as 10 km with about 1,735 ft of climb and descent, lowest point 1,333 ft and highest point 1,940 ft. The half marathon measures 21 km with about 3,233 ft of climb and descent, lowest 1,333 ft and highest 1,969 ft. The 50K covers 50 km with about 8,008 ft of climb and descent, lowest 1,333 ft and highest 2,354 ft. The 50K course includes about 50 percent single track and mountain roads. The course notes list 5 hills on the 10K, 9 hills on the half, and 20 hills on the 50K.
Participant services include official race shirts, finisher medals and certificates, chip timing, free race photos, course aid stations, finish line food and water, volunteer support, and awards for top finishers. Aid stations are listed as 2 on the 10K, 5 on the half, and 7 on the 50K. The event operates a cupless policy at aid stations and asks participants to bring a collapsible cup, water bottle, or hydration pack.
