Ring in the New Year 5k 10k 15k Half Marathon
Ring in the New Year is a road/trail running event on January 3, 2027, at Rancho Simi Park in Simi Valley, California (1765 Royal Ave). The course uses marked out-and-back loops on shared paths.
Distances offered:
- 5k - 1 loop
- 10k - 2 loops
- 15k - 3 loops
- Half marathon - 3 x 4.37 mile loops
Aid stations are provided at every loop. The course is open and shared with pedestrians, cyclists, and other park users, so participants should be aware of other path users.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, drawstring goodie bag, free videos, age group awards, live results at finish, free race photos tied to bib numbers, cinematic race highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges, an Ascend Index ranking, access to an Ascend Crew feature, and a free event app. Snacks and samples are available. Group discounts are offered.
There is a 3 hour 15 minute time limit for the half marathon; an earlier start may be arranged with the organizer. Race day registration prices are listed for each distance.
