Vale Tridents Open Water Aquathlon

The Vale Tridents Open Water Aquathlon is a multisport event held at Lake 62 in Ashton Keynes, located within the Cotswolds. The event takes place at a private venue where all swimming sections are conducted in a private lake and all running sections take place on the surrounding lake paths and venue grounds.

The event offers several categories for different age groups:

  • Youth/Junior (age 15-19): 750m swim and 4.5km run.
  • Tri Star 3 (age 13-14): 500m swim and 3km run.
  • Tri Star 2 (age 11-12): 300m swim and 1.5km run.
  • Tri Star 1 (age 9-10): 200m swim and 1.5km run.
  • Tri Start (age 8): 50m swim and 600m run.
  • Fun Run: 1.5km run.

The venue features ample free parking located within a 5-minute walk of the main area. For those traveling by public transport, the nearest bus stop is in South Cerney, which connects to train stations in Swindon or Kemble. Overnight camping is available on-site for those wishing to stay on Friday night, with toilet facilities provided, though there are no showers.
