Utah Valley Marathon
The Utah Valley Marathon weekend takes place in Provo, Utah on June 4 and 5, 2027. Events run through Provo Canyon and along the Provo River, passing forests, lakes, and waterfalls. The course for the marathon has a net elevation drop of more than 1,400 feet. Both the marathon and the half marathon are USATF certified, and the marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifying course.
Race options include the marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, and a Kids 1K fun run. Distances:
- 26.2 miles Marathon (Boston qualifier, net drop 1,400+ ft)
- 13.1 miles Half Marathon (USATF certified, finishes downtown Provo)
- 6.2 miles 10K (follows the final miles of the marathon)
- 3.1 miles 5K (held on Friday evening)
- 0.6 miles Kids 1K Fun Run (free for participants)
Race weekend features a fitness expo at the Utah Valley Convention Center on June 4. Events include on course support, finish line amenities, participant items, and published course maps and race results. The marathon supports several Utah charities and offers a charity program that can allow participants to run without a registration fee.
