Utah Marathon
The Utah Marathon takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Oakley Rodeo Grounds in Summit County. The course sits at about 6,500 feet and offers views of the Uinta Range. The route uses local ranch roads and is closed to through traffic; parking is on site at the rodeo grounds.
Distances offered:
- Marathon - 26.2 miles
- Merikos - 19.65 miles, three quarters of a marathon
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
- 10K - 10 kilometers
- 5K - 5 kilometers
Aid stations on the marathon route are located at miles 1.55, 3.1, 5, 9, 13, 16, 19.65, 23.1, and 24.65; shorter distances use the same stations where applicable. Each station provides bottled water, Gatorade, and packaged snacks, and there are restrooms on the route and at the start and finish.
Participants receive a commemorative triblend tech shirt, a finisher's medal, food and snacks at the finish, and HoneyStinger energy on course. Packet pickup is available the Friday before at Salt Lake Running Company and at the Oakley Rodeo Grounds on race morning. Live timing and course tracking are provided, and live music and food are available at the finish. The organizer offers a referral refund if five people register via a participant's referral link, and a 25% refund if a recruited volunteer shows up to help.
