Event overview
The USARA Adventure Race National Championships is a multi-discipline, non-stop 30-hour team race held in Bend, Oregon. The 2026 event is scheduled for October 23-24, with race check-in on October 22. The championships have been held for more than 25 years and bring teams from across the nation to compete. When the race ends, teams gather for an evening meal and the event announces national champions and winners of the national points series; the top masters team across all divisions is recognized.
Race format, divisions and entry
The 2026 race is limited to teams of four and includes three divisions: mixed gender, all-women, and all-men. Priority registration opens January 1, 2026 for eligible teams who will receive a registration link by email; open registration begins February 1, 2026. The RunSignUp processing fee will be deducted from any refunds. A registrant who withdraws within one week of registering will receive a full refund less processing fees. For withdrawals more than one week after registering, refunds follow a scale: before June 1, 2026 the entry fee is refunded less $50 plus processing fees; from June 1 through July 31, 2026 the entry fee is refunded less $100 plus processing fees; from and after September 1, 2026 there is no refund.
