USARA Adventure Race National Championships
The USARA Adventure Race National Championships is a long-standing annual competition that has taken place for over 25 years. Located in the High Desert of Bend, Oregon, the event features a non-stop, 30-hour adventure race. Participants compete in teams to demonstrate mastery across multiple disciplines and test endurance over the course of the duration.
The 2026 edition of the race is restricted to teams of four members. Competitors may enter into one of three distinct divisions:
- Mixed-gender teams
- All-women teams
- All-men teams
While there is no dedicated masters division, the event recognizes the top-performing masters teams across the existing categories. The event concludes with a post-race meal where the national champions are announced, and the winners of the national points series are crowned.
The schedule includes a mandatory race check-in on Thursday, followed by the start of the competition on Friday morning. Registration occurs in two phases, beginning with priority registration for eligible teams in early January, followed by open registration starting in February.
Refunds for participants who withdraw are subject to a sliding scale based on the date of withdrawal, with no refunds available after September 1, 2026. Entry transfers between racers are permitted without a fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
