2026 USARA National Championships
The 2026 USARA National Championships is a national adventure racing event held October 23-24, 2026, based at Diamond Lake Resort in Southern Oregon. The race runs non-stop for 30 hours on a top-secret course that includes trekking, mountain biking, paddling, and navigation across the local terrain.
The event is open to four person teams in three categories: mixed gender, all women, and all men. Teams earn official points toward the USARA rankings and the Adventure Racing World Series rankings. Every team receives a tracking device for safety and live tracking; use of Garmin watches in AR mode is the only other permitted GPS assistance.
All official finishers will receive a custom finisher medal. Special awards include a navigation ingenuity award (Peter Jolles Award) and a Spirit Award recognizing altruism, fair play, or team values. The premier mixed gender results include prizes that can include free entry to the 2027 Adventure Racing World Championship in Croatia and race credit awards for top US teams. A Masters prize is available to teams meeting the age criteria of an average age of 50 and a minimum age of 45 for all members.
Diamond Lake Resort serves as the host venue, with lodging options on site and shuttle arrangements from the nearest airport noted by the host. The event is directed by Bend Racing and includes an awards ceremony following the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
