New Year 5K and 10K at Trussville, AL
This event features two road race distances held in Trussville, Alabama, at 215 Parkway Dr, Trussville, AL 35173. The event uses a short out and back loop of 0.78 miles that participants repeat to complete each distance. The course is an out and back route with a two hour course time limit.
Distances offered:
- 5K: two laps of the 0.78 mile out and back loop.
- 10K: four laps of the 0.78 mile out and back loop.
Registration is required online through RunSignup and there is no on site registration. Published registration fees are thirty dollars for the 5K and forty five dollars for the 10K. Race Club t shirts are mailed to new club members after registration; there are no shirts available on site.
Parking is available in a lot near the starting line. Park restrooms are available near the starting area. Water, a fruit or gummy snack, and a granola bar are provided at the starting area; participants have access to these supplies each lap and after the race.
