New Year 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon at Slidell, LA
This US Road Running event takes place in Slidell, Louisiana, at 105 Robert Blvd, 70458. It offers multiple race distances on a local race course organized by US Road Running. The event lists finish medals and posted results as part of the race services.
Distances offered:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
Each distance has a stated registration fee. Registration opened on 2021-11-17 and closes on 2027-01-02. Race-day staffing is typically small, with one or two staff members on site. Emergency medical services are not stationed at the event, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. Because of these limitations, participants should plan for weather and for needs between laps and check in with race staff if assistance is required.
The event is described as a local, community-focused race with an official course layout and timed results. The organizer notes a relaxed, low-pressure atmosphere and basic race amenities appropriate for smaller, local races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
