Medal Madness 5K & Half Marathon at Halyburton Park
The event is scheduled for March 21, 2026, at Halyburton Park, 4099 S 17th St, Wilmington, NC 28412. The event includes the following distances:

All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Parking is advised at the Lowell Riverfront Dog Park. Finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume category, series points, and awards are listed as part of the event program.
Course and logistics
The course surface is paved. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start. The event enforces a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Course structure details:
- The 5K course segment measures 0.78 miles; the out-and-back segment is 1.56 miles and is completed two times for the 5K.
- The Half Marathon course segment measures 1.09 miles; the out-and-back segment is 2.18 miles and is completed six times for the half marathon.
