Event Overview
The US Road Running event at Halyburton Park in Wilmington, North Carolina, features two distinct road races held on an out-and-back course. Participants can choose between two distances:

The events take place on an out-and-back style course with varying loop requirements based on the distance. For the 5K, participants complete the out-and-back section two times. Those participating in the Half Marathon complete their out-and-back section six times. The event has a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Finishers receive a themed medal for their participation. The event also encourages a social atmosphere by offering an award for the best costume, though wearing one is not mandatory.
