Eagle 5K and 10K at Raleigh
The Eagle 5K and 10K is a local road running event organized by US Road Running, taking place at Green Hills County Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. This event features a specific course layout on a concrete surface, utilizing an out-and-back format.
Participants can choose from two main distances:
- 5K
- 10K
The course is designed as a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop. Runners participating in the 5K event complete this loop two times, while those in the 10K event complete it four times. Both distances are subject to a time limit of 2:00 hours.
Registration is conducted exclusively online via RunSignup, as there is no on-site registration available on the day of the event. Packet pickup is scheduled at the venue shortly before the start. The park gates open one hour before the official start, and parking is available near the playground on the north side of the park. On-site facilities include bathrooms located near the playground area.
All finishers across both distances receive a medal. The event also includes a costume competition and tracks series points for those participating in US Road Running races. Awards are presented based on the results of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
