Medal Madness 5K, 10K and 13.1M : Naples FL
Medal Madness is a set of road races held in Naples at 11565 Tamiami Trail E. Runners compete on asphalt out-and-back courses organized by US Road Running. Registration is handled through RunSignup and no on-site registration is available. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race.
Course formats and basic rules are stated clearly. The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back segment of 3.11 miles; the 5K completes that segment once and the 10K twice. The half marathon uses a 3.28 mile out-and-back segment repeated four times. There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
On-site facilities include bathrooms in the pavilion by the starting line, which open at 7:45 on race day. The start area is located by the tennis courts. The event offers finisher medals, race shirts and gear, a best costume recognition, series points and awards as part of the race program.
