Event overview
The Medal Madness event is scheduled for September 26, 2026, at Crossroads Recreational Complex in Temple, TX (7325 Prairie View Rd, 76502). The event includes three distance options:
- 5K - out-and-back once on a 3.11M course.
- 10K - out-and-back twice on a 3.11M course.
- Half Marathon (13.1M) - out-and-back four times on a 3.28M course.
All runners must register online on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race. The event lists finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, awards, series points, and a best costume category.
Course and logistics
The course surface is paved. Bathrooms are located behind the tennis court. Parking is available in the lot by the Crossroads Tennis Courts off Prairie View Road. The event enforces a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
